Connect Google Ads

Sign in with Google, pick which ad accounts you want synced, and Crowflow does the rest. The full first-sync runs immediately and the daily refresh kicks in tomorrow morning.

What we’ll do

When you connect Google Ads, Crowflow asks for read-only access (adwordsscope) to the accounts you select. We don’t ask for anything else — we never make write calls, we don’t touch your campaigns, and we don’t see your billing details.

You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions page. The next sync will fail and your dashboard will flip to Reconnect needed.

Connect your account

  1. Sign in to Crowflow at crowflow.io/sign-in.
  2. Open Connections in the dashboard.
  3. Click Connect Google Ads.
  4. Choose the Google account that has access to the Google Ads account(s) you want to sync. This matters — pick the identity that owns or manages the data, not your personal Gmail.
  5. Review the permissions screen and click Allow. You’ll be sent back to Crowflow.

Pick accounts to sync

On the Google Ads connection page, click Load accessible accounts. Crowflow asks Google which customer IDs your identity can act on and lists them for you to pick from.

Toggle each account you want synced. The toggles save immediately. Your plan tier sets a maximum — Free is 1 account, Starter is up to 5, Pro is unlimited. See plan limits for details.

You can change your selection at any time. Unselecting an account stops new data flowing in. Past data stays in your Sheet until your next destination push.

Managers (MCC)

If you sign in with a Google identity that has access to a manager account (MCC), Crowflow detects this automatically and lists the childaccounts under that manager — not the manager itself. That’s what you actually want, because the manager doesn’t have campaigns; the children do.

You don’t need to enter your manager ID anywhere. Crowflow figures out the structure from the Google Ads API at OAuth time.

If your hierarchy has nested managers (a manager underneath a manager), Crowflow currently surfaces only direct-child accounts. Email hello@crowflow.ioif you need deeper traversal and we’ll prioritise it.

What syncs, what doesn’t

Each row we sync covers one campaign, on one day:

  • Date
  • Platform (Google Ads)
  • Campaign name
  • Impressions
  • Clicks
  • Conversions
  • Spend (currency-aware)

We do not sync ad-group, ad, or keyword level granularity. We don’t pull audience data, demographic breakdowns, or click attribution detail. The wedge is your numbers in your Sheet, fast — not a custom warehouse.

If you need anything below campaign level, drop us a note — we’re collecting design-partner requests but won’t ship feature creep that compromises simplicity.

First sync & refresh

Once you’ve picked your accounts, click Refresh now on the dashboard. The first sync backfills up to 13 months of history (clamped to your plan’s history window — 30 days on Free). It runs in monthly chunks and shows progress as rows land.

Subsequent syncs only pull the last 30 days, so they finish in seconds. On Starter and Pro, the daily cron runs at 06:00 UTC.

On Free, the daily cron is disabled. You click Refresh now whenever you want fresh numbers. On Starter and Pro, your Sheet updates automatically every morning.

Troubleshooting

“No syncable accounts discovered.” The Google identity you connected with doesn’t have access to any active Google Ads account. Sign out, then sign in again with the right Google account.

“Reconnect needed.” Your access token was revoked (often by Google rotating it after a long idle period, or because you reset your Google password). Click Reconnect on the dashboard.
